Ellie is a playful critter, who loves adventure and finding treasure, and who isn't afraid of getting messy in doing so, but keep the bugs away, eek! She is also very quick to protect those around her, and is quick to learn new skills in her pursuit of adventure, but is as clumsy as she is brave. |

The Announcer is a smooth-voiced, charismatic young critter who is trying so hard to follow in the footsteps of his parents that he will announce nearly anything and follow pretty much anyone or anything that seems interesting. For example... "You have just read the Announcer's critter profile!" |

Mrs. Bookworm is the famous literature and grammar teacher at Critter High, and it very well may be in large part because she simply has no life outside of literary knowledge. Like her age, no one will ever know her real name, she simply goes by Mrs. Bookworm due to her ability to devour books in frightening amounts of time. |
| Slick is the "cool kid" at Critter High, and as such, anyone not in the realms of his coolness is shunned and insulted. He is rarely able to follow his empty threats up, however, so his counterpart Zen and his frosty exterior of intimidation are often the only thinga that stand between Slick and a good stomping. |

| Known only as Dark Lord Critter after one too many sci-fi and fantasy movies gave him the bright idea, DLC is a menace to all critterdom. Generally, if there is evil afoot, he is the one behind it all, and his hordes of zombified critters and henchmen act as an army before him. |
